Job Description:

  • Create/review/enter journal entries to document transactions.

  • Reconcile bank statements and line of credit (LOC) to ensure proper recording of cash receipts and cash distributions.

  • Daily reporting of cash, AR, AP, inventory, and LOC to management.

  • Weekly filing of borrowing base certificate to the bank.

  • Assist with month end closing procedures.

  • Reconcile credit card statement and creation of monthly journal entry.

  • Assist with audits by gathering data and providing support documentation.

  • Create worksheets, as requested by Controller, CEO, and CFO.

  • Assist Controller with manufacturing/job costing related items within Stratix software.

  • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting control procedures.

  • Reviews, investigates, and recommends correction of errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.

  • Assist AP department to ensure the timeliness of data entry.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or an Associate’s degree with additional work experience.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, general ledger software and ten key skill.
