Allegiance Staffing is seeking a Floor Supervisor for a full time, direct hire position within a production environment on 1st shift, Monday - Friday.


Summary:
Directs and coordinates activities of production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.  Responsible for ensuring all line supervisors and production workers understand the importance of and maintain a safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Always flexible as schedules & other duties may be assigned to meet customer and business demands.

  • Reviews the production schedule with Customer Service and schedules production for all lines.  Distributes and reviews daily schedule with managers during daily production meeting. Communicates any changes in the schedules with manager. 
  • Responsible for scheduling all work orders to meet the delivery dates.  Creates job packets for next day’s production. 
  • Responsible for scheduling the temporary employees for all shifts of production after the production schedule has been made.  
  • Responsible for evaluation of all production employees to ensure they are properly trained for their jobs and to ensure they understand the importance of the quality required and producing the quantity needed. 
  • Collects and reviews job packets at the end of day and forwards to appropriate departments. 
  • Responsible for approving daily attendance calculations, reporting finished goods and consumptions.
  • Responsible for reviewing all production employees’ attendance records every week to ensure they are complying with the companies attendance policy. 
  • Responsible for communicating any special instructions required for the production of the product. 
  • Responsible for contacting other department heads should a new line need to be set up for a new job product. 

Job Requirements

Education and / or Experience:  Four year college or university program certificate; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience plus computer skills.
