This position is responsible for providing meticulous and urgent processing of office paperwork from inception of order through collections. Coordination of internal departments is critical. 

Job Description of Office Assistant

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing trucks, receiving, bills of landing, invoicing customers, data entry, sales orders and accounts receivable

  • Candidate must be able able to create/analyze charts and graphs of production data. (Raw material costs, labor, packaging, shipping costs)

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and be very comfortable with technology. 

  • Making collection inquiries

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at any given time

  • Communicates effectively with staff to maintain timely processing of clients needs

  • Screens and direct telephone calls using discretion in communicating with internal/external clients.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Experience using MS Office 2010 or 2013 suite of products; especially Excel

  • Possess excellent communication skills - verbal and writing

  • Strong computer, organization and customer service skills

  • Accuracy, time management, decision making and conflict resolution

  • 2-3 years of experience working in busy office environment

  • Associates Degree of equivalent work experience

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
