Basic Functions:


The Credit Specialist is responsible for credit and collections in a fast paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial statement analysis and collections. The candidate must also have experience with resolving A/R disputes, Account/Payment reconciliations, investigating deductions and charge backs. This position requires a highly motivated and goal oriented person with a strong work ethic, flexible and great customer relationship experience. Main goal is to protect the assets of the company and maximize cash flow through collection of accounts receivables. Also, to avoid bad debt expense and improve cash management. Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Credit and Collections.

  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.

  • Ability to analyze credit data and financial statements.

  • Ability to deal with Lien and Bond claims, along with other legal actions.

  • Must be dependable, reliable, and willing to work a flexible schedule when necessary.

  • Willingness and proven ability to contribute effectively in a team environment.

  • Proven ability to positively interact with customers and build on long term relationships, ability to multitask and function with high degree of accuracy.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office products and ERP systems.


Preferences:



  • Construction experience.

  • Experience with multiple locations including Canada and Mexico.

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and/or French)
