Job Description

We are currently hiring for an ACCOUNTING & HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting;
• Maintain QuickBooks* database, including processing and tracking all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Work with external accounting firm monthly to reconcile bank and investment accounts
• Participate in creation of annual organizational budget including salary projections and analysis of overhead expenditures
• Manage accounts payable and receivables
• Create monthly accounts payable and receivable reports 
• Manage and submit payroll and commissions
• Coordinate fiscal reporting, including tax, social security and for statistical use.
• Oversee ordering of inventory and managing assets
• Complete and maintain contracts with related outside vendors
• Define and manage finical processes and monitor system reliability
• Provide cost analysis for operations
• Manage collection, credit and customer approval process
• Create monthly financial reports to headquarter in Germany

Human Resources:
• Act as point of contact for legal counsel for labor, immigration, stock; conduct related administrative work
• Assist in recruiting process: job description creation/posting, handle inbound recruiting tasks, overseeing coordination tasks
• Oversee new employee on-boarding, orientation, and termination
• Develop internal training programs
• Manage Sales Representative contracts and oversee revisions
• Conduct new employee orientations
• Maintain and manage employee files
• Manage payroll, employee benefits and administration
• Oversee benefits administration including annual health insurance policy review and enrollment, and act as administrator of company 401(k) plan
• Maintain accurate reports on employee PTO accrual on a bi-weekly basis
• Assist external payroll firm in creation of annual W-2s

Administrative:
• Review contracts proposals
• Liaison between company and legal counsel



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all accounting matters related to company's invoicing, receivables, payables, wire-transfers, banking transactions and bank reconciliations.
Completes month-end closings using QuickBooks* and prepares monthly financial reporting package and analysis
Processes payroll using ADP bi weekly
Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning and implementing human resources policies, programs and practices
Assists with daily office management tasks

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
•5-7 years of accounting experience, human resources or related field
•Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), balance sheet and income statement methods, internal controls, and other areas related to financial reporting requirements
•Experience in manufacturing
•Quick Books* experiences

PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience processing payroll and working with payroll processing systems
Strong experience with QuickBooks*, MS Excel, MS Word
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Knowledge and enforcement of employee rights, benefits, and obligations
